The inaugural Sydney Airport Cycling Forum was held on Monday. Scott Aitken, the Landside Roads and Traffic Manager provided an overview of the Airport’s intentions to support cycling. Duncan Tjin, from Transport for NSW, followed with an outline of the Sydney Cycling Future Strategy as it related to the region. Dylan Connell, the RMS Project Manager for the Westconnex Enabling Works, provided an update on the project. Other speakers included representatives from neighbouring Councils – Mary Bailey (Rockdale), Steve Poulton (Botany), Simon Lowe (Marrickville) and Fiona Campbell (City of Sydney). The forum was facilitated by Ryan Lonsdale of the Bicycle Network
